These appraisals are typically ordered from an approved list of the lender. We have completed FHA, VA and relocation (ERC) appraisals for many years. This is still a large percentage of our business.

Divorce Appraisals
Divorce settlements involve many decisions, including who gets the house. There are generally two choices when it comes to real estate - it can be put on the market and the proceeds divvied up, or one party can "buy out" the other. In either case, one or both parties would be wise to get an appraisal of the mutual real estate. An appraisal for the purpose of asset division requires a well-supported, professional value conclusion that can be supported in court. We do have experience in expert witness testimony. The ethics provision within the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) means the highest amount of confidentiality, resulting in the utmost discretion, meaning we do not share with opposing attorneys, spouses or others without your consent.
